Roman coin: silver-plated ccontemporary copy of a Republican denarius
Description
English: A silver-plated and copper alloy cored contemporary copy of a silver Roman denarius of the Roman Republic, dating to c. 148 - 100 BC (Reece period 1). Reverse type possibly depicting a quadriga (four-horse chariot) going right. The top half of the coin has been broken away. Mint illegible.

The overall dimensions are as follows: 18.09mm in diameter, 1.61mm in thickness and 1.45g in weight.
