Roman Buckle
Description
English: Very abraded copper alloy small fragment possibly of a Roman military buckle plate. A loop is set at right angles to the remainder, which may be part of one side and two openwork apertures. Most of the surfaces have been lost but several patinated patches are extant. Surviving length and width 29.5mm and 8.5mm. Possibly 4th century.
