Roman-Medieval possible bracelet
Description
English: A Roman copper alloy incomplete bracelet with hooked terminals (3rd - 4th century). The bracelet is decorated with grooves along the length that form a border but no other decoration. The hooked opposing end of the bracelet is missing. A similar form of bracelet was found within a military context at Vindolanda (Birley & Greene 2006: 139-140 SF2509). Dimensions: length: 92.91mm; weight: 4.88g. Reference: Birley, B. and Greene, E. 2006. The Roman Jewellery from Vindolanda. Research Reports, New Series Volume IV.
