Deutsch: Das Beethoven-Haus am Pfarrplatz 2 in Heiligenstadt (Wien) auf einer Aufnahme aus dem Jahr 1961.
English: Beethoven lived in many places in his 25 years in Vienna. For one thing, he was a bad tenant, playing his piano at all hours, etc. And he just got dissatisfied and moved. This is the best known house, at Pfarrplatz 2, in Heiligenstadt. He lived here in the summer of 1817. Heiligenstadt was a village north of Vienna at the time. The house is now a "Heuriger" wine tavern. |
