English: Rocks at Bowles. Bowles Rocks, one of the many sandstone outcrops in the area, have been many things over the years - stone age axe factory, firing range, pigsty and now an outdoor pursuits centre.
The rocks are used for teaching climbing and abseiling. A day ticket for climbing can be obtained at the gatehouse for less than £2. |
