Description
English: Rockland Mansion located in East Fairmount Park at 3810 Mount Pleasant Drive, Philadelphia, PA 19121
Significance: Rockland, erected ca. 1810, is an excellent example of a Federal style house. The elliptical staircase (second floor landing, pictured) possesses classic Adamesque details and is one of the few of its type that survives in the Philadelphia area.
