English: Looking up the River Thames in a westward direction from the Tower Bridge walkway, in summer 1988. Includes HMS Belfast, London Bridge. Note some obviously old buildings under demolition at the bottom left (beside Southwark Crown Court)- this was around the time when much of London's docks, wharfs et al were being redeveloped. Not an especially good photo in itself, but shows things how they were at the time. |

This is a retouched picture, which means that it has been digitally altered from its original version. Modifications: Photoshop auto-generated composite of two source photos (well-executed join appears roughly in the middle if you're looking for it). Aside from adjustments to brightness and colour balance, some application of shadow/highlight filter, cropping, and scratch removal in sky only nothing has been changed..
