Description
English: Ancient Roman kantharos, a drinking cup with two handles made of terra sigillata, discovered in a not specified place in Limburg, the Netherlands. The object from the 2nd half of the 2nd century AD is now in the collection of the Rijksmuseum van Oudheden in Leiden. This photo was taken during the temporary exhibition Topstukken van het Rijksmuseum van Oudheden in the Limburgs Museum in Venlo, while the museum in Leiden was closed for renovations.
