Description
English: Pvt. Shane Irwin and Pvt. Zachary McDaniel of Charlie Troop, 1st Squadron, 33rd Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, walk along a contaminated canal as they provide security for a U.S. hired forensics archaeology team searching for Saddam-era mass grave sites. The water color is due to years of contamination at the land fill.
