Description
English: Brig. Gen. Blake C. Ortner, 29th Infantry Division commanding general and exercise director of Saber Strike 16, meets with Ambassador Nancy Bikoff Pettit, U.S. Ambassador to Latvia, during a ribbon-cutting ceremony June 17, 2016, in Lielvarde, Latvia. The ceremony was to recognize delivery of $22 million in air defense systems to Latvia estimated to be completed in October 2016. Troops from Latvia and the 29th are among 4,500 military members from 13 different NATO countries.
