English: Retaining Wall to Quarry Track from Strangstry Wood. After crossing the line of the railway, the track from the disused quarry SE1221 at the top of Strangstry wood descends to the now disused Tag Cut Canal. The retaining wall was built to support the hillside above the track. The canal in the foreground is not shown on the 1:50,000 OS maps |
