Description
English: An excavator removes hazardous waste from an old landfill during a restoration project at Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu. The project, coordinated by the Naval Base Ventura County Environmental Division, removed 1,950 tons of hazardous material from 23 acres of old landfills, restored 2.4 acres of wetlands, and converted 12.5 acres into use as a Morale, Welfare and Recreation recreational vehicle storage facility.
