Description

c/n 399-55513. Built in 1945 for the US military with the serial 44-90368. Delivered to FA Venezolana in October 1947 as ‘FAV490368’. In 1975 she was recovered to France and stored at La Ferte Alais until 1987 when she finally returned to the US. Restored to flight in 1991, she has been part of the Lone Star Flight Museum since July 1998 and is seen at their previous home of Galveston, Texas, United States. 18th March 2017

NOTE:- I was escorted by a member of museum staff to take this shot from behind the public barriers.
