Summary
[edit]DescriptionReplica of a SPAD S.XIII at the Museum of Aviation in Košice 06.jpg |
English: Replica of a SPAD S.XIII biplane from the interwar Czechoslovak Republic (1920s, 1930s), manufactured by the French aviation company Société Pour L'Aviation et ses Dérivés (SPAD, previously Société Pour les Appareils Deperdussin). The SPAD S.XIII was one of the most numerous Entente fighter biplanes of the entire first world war, with every Entente country equipping at least some of their fighter squadrons with the S.XIII. After the conclusion of the war, many surplus S.XIII fighters were sold to emerging air forces of various countries, including early Czechoslovakia. The S.XIII served as a patrol and fighter aircraft of the interwar Czechoslovak Air Force during the 1920s.
Slovenčina: Replika dvojplošníka SPAD S.XIII z medzivojnovej Československej republiky (20. a 30. roky 20. storočia), výrabaného francúzskou leteckou spoločnosťou Société Pour L'Aviation et ses Dérivés (SPAD, predtým Société Pour les Appareils Deperdussin). SPAD S.XIII bol jedným z najpočetnejších stíhacích dvojplošníkov Dohody celej prvej svetovej vojny. Každá krajina Dohody vystrojila aspoň niektoré zo svojích stíhacích letiek stíhačkami S.XIII. Po skončení vojny boli mnohé prebytkové stíhačky S.XIII odpredané rodiacim sa vzdušným silám rôznych krajín, vrátane raného Československa. Stíhačka S.XIII slúžila ako hliadkovacie a stíhacie lietadlo medzivojnového Československého letectva počas 20. rokov 20. storočia. |
