Description

Built by The Vintage Aviator Ltd (TVAL) in New Zealand and completed in 2012. The build used as many original components as could be found, including an original Bentley BR2 rotary engine, a propeller, some wing ribs and tail surface components and at least two ailerons, among other small parts. The aeroplanes is marked as ‘E6655’, an aeroplane operated by No1 Squadron based at RAF Hinaidi in Iraq in 1926. It went on display at Hendon in October 2012, initially in the Milestones Hall, but is now in the Historic Main Hangars. RAF Museum, Hendon, London, UK.
