Description About a kilometer down the track, well cycling track anyway, behind the old Union station in Ottawa, my son pointed out this structure which he thought was an erstwhile train station. Seemed unlikely though, as Union was barely a kilometer away. It was probably a boat station of sorts, using the canal, judging by the many boat posters therein. The latest use of it however seemed to have been as a restaurant, as we saw tables and chairs stacked in one corner and saw an old bbq grill and other catering related paraphernalia. Wonder what this structure was originally used as? (Ottawa, Canada, June 2015)
