Français : Châsse émaillée dorée (Atelier hispano-limousin, vers 1120-1130). Cette châsse est le plus ancien reliquaire en forme de sarcophage connu et le premier objet attribuable aux ateliers de limoges ou en tout cas hispano-aquitains. Il s'agit d'un exemple unique sans postérité.
La châsse, qui se présente sous forme d'une maisonnette au toit en bâtière (avec deux versants), est décorée de douze médaillons bombés de cuivre champlevé*, émaillé, avec une iconographie d'inspiration évangélique représentant le Christ, les quatre évangélistes, la Vierge et l'Agneau... Au revers, seuls les médaillons du toit subsistent. La face apparente est ornée de six médaillons bombés. Le Christ est identifié par une inscription à la circonférence : IESUS SUTSIPX, le nom XPISTUS ayant été inversé par l'orfèvre. Il est encadré par le Taureau et un griffon en lieu et place de l'Aigle, symboles des évangélistes Luc et Jean. Sur le toit, l'Agneau Pascal entre l'Ange et le Lion (pour Matthieu et Marc). Les médaillons sont séparés par des rangées de pierres fines taillées, du verre et des intailles antiques montées en cabochon. Ce reliquaire fut peut-être exécuté pour la Chapelle des comtes de la Marche dans le château de Bellac. La chapelle dépendait de l'église Saint-Sauveur, aujourd'hui église paroissiale de l'Assomption-de-la-Très-sainte-Vierge.
