English: Reignac-sur-Indre (Indre-et-Loire)
Échelle de crue sur le mur d'une habitation. Avec le resserrement du lit de l'Indre et la confluence Indre-Indrois, la montée des eaux peut être très rapide. En 1770, la cote atteinte par l'eau était de plus de 65,30 m, alors que la cote au niveau du pont du ruisseau de la Guignardière est à un peu plus de 60 m et au niveau de la place de la mairie, de 64 m. Sur l'échelle figure également la hauteur de la digue construite en 1985 pour protéger le village. |
