Droit : la ville de Mantoue debout présente ses clefs à un guerrier debout ; à l'arrière-plan, un pont conduisant à la ville ; revers : couronne de laurier surmontant une inscription sur deux lignes ; au-dessous, un foudre surmontant une inscription sur trois lignes. Commentaire historique:

Médaille portant des traces d'un incendie, sans doute celui de l'hôtel de ville, le 24 mai 1871.
