Description
English: Red Fort is situated in the heart of Delhi, constructed in the year 1639 by the fifth Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. It was named for its massive enclosing walls of red sandstone. It was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty lasting for nearly 200 years. The architectural style used here are Indo-Islamic, Mughal.
