Description
English: A sign from the "Lion Hotel" (according to the sign) or the "Red Lion Hotel" (according to the museum info) from the late C19 on display at Bedford Museum's "Clocking In" exhibition at the Bedford Gallery. The hotel was at 55, High Street, Bedford, the current site of the "Litten Tree" pub.

The sign was created by a local C19 sign writer whose identity is most unlikely to be determinable and who hence should be considered anonymous. The sign is therefore in the public domain.
