Description
English: Pictured is a local man from a village in Basrah Province, Iraq looking on as a soldier from the 2nd Battalion The Royal Welsh Regiment operates a JCB Military Backhoe Loader.

The machinery was used to dig drainage ditches in a date palm plantation to improve the crop yield and thus help the local population.
