Description
English: Pictured is a soldier applying camouflage cream during the Reconnaissance and Armoured Tactics Division final exercise at Greenland’s camp Salisbury Plain.

Camouflage is often vital to a soldier in the field. The multi-terrain pattern (MTP) combat clothing is designed to blend with the range of environments in Afghanistan such as woodland, jungle, compounds, crops, grassland and arid stone. This change to the British camouflage pattern was the first in 40 years.
