Description
Rebecca Cornwall was the daughter of John Cornwall of Hendon House. In 1783 she married Sir John Simeon, Bart. (1756-1824) of Walliscot, Oxfordshire. The M.P. for Reading 1797-1802 and 1806-1818, he was also a practicing barrister and a member of Lincoln's Inn as well as Recorder of Reading 1779-1807 and Master in Chancery from 1795 until 1808 when he became Senior Master. Lady Simeon died in 1830.
