English: Straight razor in box .1 razor- straight bladed razor with hinged black jet handle, single edged hollow ground blade, blade has file surface handle is decorated on both sides, on one side are profile busts of 'CHARLOTTE' and 'LEOPOLD' (married 2 May 1816), on the other, running horizontally is a mourning scene with a leafless tree on the lhs and five figures approaching a tomb with an urn upon it, illustration is initialled JR on right hand side and has name (Milns .) on left hand side markings- blade is marked "MILNS - ONDON" .2 box- shallow wooden box with lid pivoted at one end, part missing at other end, remains of red morocco leather lining on base and marbled paper lining inside box |
