Summary
[edit]DescriptionRathmichael overview.jpg |
English: Ráth MacTail
The Rathmichael mini-monastery was built on one of the biggest raths (ring forts) in the country. You can see the outline of its raised platform. The Rathmichael church ruins date from the twelfth and thirteenth century, but the site is probably another five hundred years older. |
