Description
Deutsch: Wappenscheibe im Bürgersaal des Rathauses von Sempach: "Die Statt Und Ampt Der freien Graffschafft Willisau - 1621".

Am oberen Rand ist das "Blutwunder zu Willisau" dargestellt, eine Zuger Sage «De verbannti Spiller», überliefert 1564, nach der drei Willisauer Kriegsknechte 1392 in Menzingen beim Kartenspiel Gott lästerten. Hans Schröter soll dabei Haus und Hof verspielt haben, er fluchte gegen Gott, zog seinen Dolch und warf ihn zum Himmel hinauf. Darauf fielen fünf Blutstropfen auf den Spieltisch. Schröter wurde gepackt und davongewirbelt. Verbannt in den "Frau Verenenberg" muss er seither seinen Frevel büssen. Die anderen zwei Söldner gerieten in Streit, der eine erstach den anderen und starb zuletzt im Elend.
