Bahasa Indonesia: Kongkang Racun atau dalam bahasa ilmiah disebut sebagai Odorrana hosii merupakan salah satu katak yang mendiami pulau jawa. Katak ini dalam bahasa sunda biasa disebut kole hejo. Sedangkan dalam bahasa inggrisnya katak ini disebut "poisonous rock-frog". Katak ini berbentuk ramping berukuran sedang sampai besar berkisar antara 45 mm- 65 mm bagi jantan sedangkan betina 85 mm - 100 mm, kaki belakang panjang dan ramping, jari kaki dan tangan dengan piringan datar yang jelas, jari kaki berselaput sampai ke dasarnya. Kulit dengan kelenjar racun yang memberikan bau busuk.
English: Kongkang Toxins or in scientific language referred to as Odorrana Hosii is one of the frogs that inhabit the island of Java. This frog in Sundanese language is usually called "Kole Hejo". Whereas in English this frog is called "poisonous rock-frog". These frogs are of medium to large size ranging from 45 mm to 65 mm for males while females are 85 mm - 100 mm, long and slender hind legs, toes and hands with clear flat disks, webbed toes to the base. Skin with poison glands that give a foul odor. |
