English: Railway bridge over River Calder. This bridge carries the ex-L&Y Calder Valley main line over the river. As can be seen, it has been widened on the south side from two tracks to four. This line, once one of the busiest railways in Britain, is a sad shadow of its former self. Here we are looking west. |
