Summary
[edit]DescriptionRailway Station, Brocklesby - geograph.org.uk - 663118.jpg |
English: Railway Station, Brocklesby Class 20214 and 20094 pass through the former Brocklesby Junction station on their way back from Grimsby. The fine looking building is a private residence. The station closed to passengers 4th Oct 1993, but the station building well before that. The line near the signal box is now bi-directional and the junction has been remodelled.
An excellent comparison shot by Ben Brooksbank, which was taken on 19th May 1967 https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1915959 The photograph shows the Immingham line that ran behind the box. It was lifted, but has now been reinstated. |
