Summary
[edit]DescriptionRailway Bridge and Public Footpath - geograph.org.uk - 282528.jpg |
English: Railway Bridge and Public Footpath This bridge carries the main North Wales rail line to Holyhead. There is a second bridge, built against it at the far side, which carries the line that soon veers off to Shrewsbury, crossing the low bridge over the main road through Saltney. The 1882 O.S. map seems to indicate a single bridge, so presumably the second one was built when extra tracks were laid. |
