Bahasa Indonesia: Kawasan Hutan di Provinsi Bengkulu kaya akan habitat bunga terbesar di dunia "Rafflesia arnoldii", maka dari itu Provinsi Bengkulu mendapat julukan Bumi Rafflesia (The Land Of Rafflesia). Rafflesia arnoldii pertama kali ditemukan pada tahun 1818 di hutan tropis Bengkulu oleh seorang pemandu yang bekerja pada Dr Joseph Arnold yang sedang mengikuti ekspedisi Sir Thomas Stanford Raffles. Maka dari itu, nama Rafflesia arnoldii merupakan gabungan dari nama dua orang tersebut.
Bunga Raflesia arnoldii adalah identitas Provinsi Bengkulu dan sebagai salah satu puspa langka dari tiga bunga nasional Indonesia. Hal ini berdasarkan Kepres No. 4 Tahun 1993 tentang Satwa dan Bunga Nasional. Jadi, Bunga Rafflesia arnoldii adalah salah satu Bunga Nasional Indonesia ya sahabat. |
