Summary

Description

We took this hike in July 2009 - it was a great day - actually too hot, something we rarely complain about in Alaska. We went to Rabbit Lake and exited via McHugh Valley; the hike to Rabbit Lake was a piece of cake, the exit through McHugh Valley was hell - no water, no breeze, cow parsnip and alder everywhere - and the trail, even though it was downhill, seemed to go on forever.

So anyone that wants to do Rabbit Lake, go in via Canyon Road and out the same way - much nicer!
