Description
English: Replica of the Voisin de Caters N IV in the Royal Military Museum at the Jubelpark, Brussels. The Voisin de Caters was the aeroplane used by baron de Caters to accomplish the first official flight in Belgium in 1908 in the Antwerp town of st-Job in 't Goor. The plane was built by the Voisin brothers in their Boulogne Billancourt workshop (Paris), but was equipped with a Belgian made engine.
Nederlands: Replica van de Voisin de Caters N IV in het Koninklijk Legermuseum aan het Jubelpark te Brussel. De Voisin de Caters was het toestel waarmee baron de Caters in 1908 bij St-Job-in-'t Goor de eerste vlucht boven Belgische bodem maakte. Het toestel werd gemaakt door de gebroeders Voisin in hun fabriek in Boulogne Billancourt (Parijs), maar werd uitgerust met een Belgische motor.
