Description
English: R. Penn Smith Jr. on his Narosla, leaving the paddock to win the fifth race at the United Hunts Meet which was held last month at Belmont Terminal. Both Philadelphia and New York claim Mr. Smith as a sportsman. He is the son of R. Penn Smith, of the former city, but since his marriage to Miss Carol Harriman, the youngest daughter of the late E. H. Harriman, he has been a resident of New York. He races in the style of the “Grassland Stable." Narosla is by Sir Geoffrey-Sunshine
