Description
English: Commemorative plaque to Mr. Pál Réz (1930-2016) Hungarian literary translator, historian, critic and editor, citizen of honor of the 13th district of Budapest. It was affixed to the wall of the house that he lived from 1948 until his death and where he edited the magazine Holmi for 25 years. The plate was unveiled on 11 April 2018. Quote: "The earth, the trees, and the stars are transformed into new visions. There will be a world but another world will be complete if I die. " by János Székely. (Budapest, District XIII, Jászai Mari Square Nr 4/a)
Français : Plaque commémorative à M. Pál Réz (1930-2016) historien, traducteur et critique littéraire ainsi que rédacteur en chef hongrois, citoyen d'honneur du 13e arrondissement de Budapest. Elle a été apposée au mur de la maison qu’il habitait de 1948 jusqu'à sa mort et où il a édité la revue Holmi pendant 25 ans. La plaque a été dévoilé le 11 avril 2018. Citation : « La terre, les arbres et les étoiles se transforment en une nouvelle vision.
