English: House of François Parent (1697-1784) owner of the old Jesuit quarry (Beauport, Québec). In 1759, Montcalm commandeers the house and builds a redoubt nearby. John Racey buys the house in 1824 which is transformed into a villa called Mount Rose. Elzéar Verreault purchased the quarry in 1912 with the house; he used an outbuilding as a summer house. In 1967, Ciment Québec (Verreault-Frontenac) buys the quarry and becomes owner of the house which is demolished in 1977.
