Description

À entrada da Azinhaga, uma enorme casa branca e sóbria ladeia a estrada de terra batida que leva a Mato de Miranda. Um portão de ferro, encimado por um trabalhoso emaranhado de ferro forjado, onde são visíveis as iniciais "R.J.C." de Rafael José da Cunha, ascendente da família Veiga, e a data de 1831, dá entrada para esta propriedade que já foi pertença dos condes da Ribeira Grande. O brasão dos Câmaras ornamenta as cantarias do portão da Quinta da Broa, então Quinta do Almonda. Lá dentro, um amplo pátio, rodeado de construções revestidas a hera, desvenda a história de muitas gerações e o quotidiano de uma casa agrícola. A Quinta da Broa é o centro de um vasto conjunto de explorações agrícolas situadas nos concelhos da Golegã, Chamusca, Rio Maior e Santarém, e, acima de tudo, é o centro de uma reconhecida coudelaria: o ferro Veiga é garantia de qualidade. <a href="http://www.eps-golega.rcts.pt/quintabroa.htm" rel="nofollow">www.eps-golega.rcts.pt/quintabroa.htm</a>
