Summary
[edit]DescriptionQuick Impact Lineman Safety Training Program (6774084282).jpg | A three day Training of Trainers for launching the "Quick Impact Lineman Safety Training Program" kicked off on 25 October 2011 at HESCO's Regional Training Center (RTC). Nine trainers including 3 Sub-Divisional Officers (SDOs), 3 Line Superintendents and 3 linemen received training on best safety practices. The mainstream training will start on 28 November for 620 linemen and line superintendents and 62 SDOs in HESCO RTC. The effort will be replicated in the remaining DISCOs and a total of 9,600 linemen/line superintendents and 960 SDOs will be trained. The effort was initiated because, on average, 165 DISCO personnel suffer due to fatal accidents each year due to lapses in safety practices or equipment as they perform their duties. |
