Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Queen's Quay station - Platforms 4 & 5
The track to Platform 4 (left) was lifted in 1974 while track to Platform 5 (right) is believed to have been removed about 1963 - realistically, both platforms were surplus following closure of the Newcastle line in 1950. There were carriage sidings and freight facilities beyond the retaining wall at right, but these were gone by 1963 and probably closed following the end of rail services to Newcastle. All locations are approximate as this site is now under the M3 motorway/cross-harbour link.
