Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Liliuokalani Protestant Church, built in 1961, is the fourth and current church of the original Protestant Church founded in 1832 by the Reverend & Mrs. John and Ursula Emerson. Designed by Native Hawaiian Architect Theodore Vierra, it is built in the modern style using concrete with the addition of lava rocks. The "Endeavor Arch", one of only two in the Hawaiian Islands gracing the front entrance of a church, is built of lava rocks and frames the front facade of the church in a picturesque manner.
