English: Quarry at Shieldsikes Crag A quarry far up in the depths of Kielder Forest. Some people get all the fun jobs. The quarryman was engaged in picking up huge lumps of rock and dropping them from a great height in an attempt to break them up. Rather like thrushes dropping snail shells. |
