Français : Affiche pour annoncer la parution d'un roman-feuilleton dans le journal "Le Petit Méridional", en 1892, écrit par Julien Rambert, intitulé Marca-Maou. L'affiche montre une peau humaine sanguinolente. L'intrigue du roman s'inspire d'un fait divers réel et la peau tannée de Pierre Vitou, alias Marca-Mau / Marca Maou / Marqua-Maou, guillotiné à Montpellier en 1824 pour parricide (il avait empoisonné ses parents et son frère), a bien été exposée au musée de la Faculté de Médecine de Montpellier au XIXe siècle.
