Description
English: Looking north at the newly-built entrance to the Briarwood–Van Wyck subway station on the north side of Queens Boulevard and Main Street above the Van Wyck Expressway in Briarwood, Queens. The entrance and elevator were constructed in the 2010s as part of the Kew Gardens Interchange Project, which reconstructed the highway interchange and the subway station. Including the adjacent bus stop, this is a nice little display of modern transit infrastructure in New York City. Although the elevator isn't special as much as they just decided to leave it metallic colored.
