Description
English: Military truck drivers from the 298th Transportation Company wait in the rain as the “Briscoe Station,” an Army Landing Craft Utility 2000 vessel operated by the 97th Transportation Company (Heavy Boat), delivers their vehicles at the U.S. Navy Naval Weapons Station on Joint Base Charleston. The transfer of the fueling trucks and Humvees are part of the 2014 Quartermaster Liquid Logistics Exercise. This event highlights the need for practicing viable means of moving crucial liquids such as fuel and water to all branches of the military as missions require and circumstances dictate.
