Description Plaza de Armas de Santiago, retratada desde las esquina sur poniente (actual Compañía y Ahumada) desde los techos de lo que debió ser la antigua iglesia de La Compañía, a un costado de la Catedral. se observa el antiguo Palacio de Gobierno, edificio histórico y actual sede de la Municipalidad. La plaza no tenía la frondosa vegetación que hoy día tiene y en su centro se puede apreciar un abrevadero para los animales. Al fondo se divisa un Cerro San Cristóbal desprovisto de vegetación.
