Description
Српски / srpski: Opis vrste

D.t. 14-15 cm. Rasprostranjena je u mediteranskim delovima Evrope, Maloj Aziji, na Srednjem Istoku i oko Himalajskog platoa. Deo evropske populacije je migratoran, dok pojedine populacije tokom cele godine ostaju na gnezdilištima. Staništa su joj stene, litice i strmi kamenjari u klisurama, kanjonima i planinama. Gnezda od blata smešta u potkaine, pećine i slična mesta na stenama i liticama, vrlo retko na ljudskim objektima. Hrani se insektima koje hvata u letu. Predstavlja redovnu gnezdaricu klisura u brdsko - planinskim područjima Srbije, čija se populacija procenjuje na 1.200-1.700 gnezdećih parova (Puzović et al 2003). Status zaštite vrste IUCN crvena lista - Kategorija LC; Ptice od posebnog značaja za zaštitu u Evropi: Non SPEC; Konvencija o očuvanju evropske divlje flore i faune i prirodnih staništa - Annex I;
