Description

Psathyrella prona group (current identification on Mushroom observer)

Image location: Massy, Essonne, France

No veil. Cap very hygrophanous, up to 2 cm diameter. Darker zone at margin when drying. Gill edges white. In a park.

Based on microscopic features: Slightly transparent spores with germ pore about 13 × 6.25 µm, lageniform cheilocystidia about 33 × 13 µm. Divisions in micrograph are 1.5 µm (spores) and 3.75 µm (cheilocystidia).
