| Description |
English: The city of Danvers, Massachusetts dedicated Proctor's Ledge Memorial to the victims executed during the Salem Witch Trials. Even though the exact site of the witch hangings was not known for many years, a group of researchers determined that the actual site of the Salem Witch Trial executions was located right on the hill behind Proctor's Ledge. And thus, the city of Danvers built the Proctor's Ledge Memorial to honor the victims. |
