Português: A Procissão do Fogaréu reencena a prisão de Jesus Cristo. Os participantes vestidos em túnicas coloridas são chamados de Farricocos e representam os soldados romanos em busca do Nazareno.
A indumentária é inspirada em trajes medievais usados por penitentes que expiavam seus pecados em público. Visto aqui, o grupo da cidade de Caxias (MA) faz procissão na capital do Estado, São Luís.English: The Bonfire Procession reenacts the detention of Jesus Christ. Attendants playing the roles of roman soldiers carry torches and drums and wear colorful tunics inspired by medieval garments.
